Free Useful Items in Beacon!

The former Martin Luther King Cultural Center in Beacon on 19 South Avenue is no longer in operation. The building, a glorious white & green Victorian is getting cleared out on Friday and Saturday. Below are photos of what is still remaining. Please comment on this post, come to the MLK Center in the next two days or email me (info@zerotogo.org) if you want any of these items.

There is very little time left to get these items to new homes. I'm limited in my ability to measure things, and unfortunately have no space or vehicle to help you store things you want. First come, first serve.

Many file cabinets are available -tall & short!

Electric stove - works great!

Clean stove.

Special 4 prong plug - make sure it's the right one for your home!

There are at least 4 like this on available

Two like this one available

Two or three like this

Three very large shelves like this available!
Many books still remain, so please bring boxes if you're going to take books. Everyone knows that books don't belong in dumpsters, so please help get the word out.
