I went to Home Depot today, and got some one-on-one attention from Derek Jones, head of Lead Generating. He was really excited that I was reading his sign about the upcoming Kid's Day as I walked in to drop off a broken CFL bulb. We talked about other types of seminars they've had, and he told me that they did have environmental topics from time to time. Here's the link to the full calendar of seminars.
As we continued chatting, he told me about hydroelectric cars. According to him, there are 5 countries developing this technology, which uses hydrogen to power the system. Somehow, a giant motor is no longer necessary, which frees up a ton of space inside the vehicle to rearrange seats into different patterns as per your needs. Also, the car comes with multiple shells available so that one can decide between a minivan or a convertible. I'm going to have to double-check his "facts", as he was pretty excited to help me out with my composing supplies on a slow Tuesday. In the meanwhile, here's the best article I could locate on the technology: link here.
